Jaimi “Mimi” L. Allen, PhD, CHES, is a behavioral epidemiologist with experience in the development, implementation, evaluation, and translation of evidence-based and engaging health-related programs in adults, with a focus on chronic disease prevention and survivorship. Born and raised in rural US, Dr. Allen is committed to helping people and communities thrive, especially those with an additional layer of disadvantage. She is very passionate about involving the community in research and bringing science to the community. Her research focuses on health disparities, cancer survivorship, health behaviors, and employment outcomes.
