Amrita Sidhu is a PhD candidate in Behavioral Sciences and Health Promotion at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. With a background in clinical dental practice and a Master of Public Health with a Maternal and Child Health certificate, she bridges clinical practice and research. The Student Association President, a Doctoral Student Ambassador, a Delta Omega inductee and the 2023-24 ASPPH This is Public Health Ambassador, Amrita is dedicated to academic excellence and leadership. She is a Graduate Research Assistant/ Project Director for Native It’s Your Game through the Healthy Native Youth collaborative for the past 3.5 years and has extensive experience with community collaboration, scientific writing, conference presentations and has 5 publications to her credit.
