Dr. Nikki Hillier is a Professor in the Department of Public Health and Nutrition at Eastern Illinois University (EIU), where she has been a faculty member since 2015. In her dual roles as Internship Coordinator and Graduate Coordinator, she guides students in both practical experience and academic growth. She studied Community Health and Public Health at the University of Illinois, Urbana. and has over a decade of experience working as a Program Coordinator at the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District.  With a strong commitment to developing the public health workforce, she helps students discover their niche within the public health system.
