Bev Stewart, BS, CHES, is the Senior Director of Nationwide Lung Disease Programs at the American Lung Association. She has 20+ years expertise in chronic lung disease management and partnership building. Throughout her career, she has concentrated her efforts on building awareness and education to help patients make informed decisions that best support their lung health. Oftentimes, this means creating content targeting healthcare providers or public health professionals to best reach the individuals they support. In 2025, Bev was awarded the American Lung Association’s Innovation Award for her contributions to the creation of a Lung Health Navigator program that has proven to help rural individuals with less access to healthcare better manage their COPD and will be sharing how this project went from an idea, to a funding campaign, to a proven strategy.
