Dr. Weiqing Ge (DPT, PhD) is a Distinguished Professor of Physical Therapy in the Department of Graduate Studies in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Youngstown State University. Weiqing’s key research interests are soft tissue biomechanics, community health, cultural competence, and educational research. Weiqing is a co-PI and Strategic Lead for community design for physical activity of the Guin Fit initiative supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) program through a 5-year cooperative agreement. Weiqing is the PI of the Department of Transportation Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant.
