Folakemi is a researcher and doctoral assistant in Health Promotion & Education at the University of Cincinnati, where her teaching and research focus on equity and vulnerable populations, mental health, social and behavioral health, and health promotion strategies. She has over five years of public health experience in leading community-based interventions. Her present research is focus on digital health strategies to address mental health, substance use, and stress management among vulnerable populations.
