Brianna Wertz, MPH, recently graduated from Western Michigan University’s School of Interdisciplinary Health Programs in December of 2025, where she served as the Graduate Assistant for the Bachelor and Master of Public Health Programs. She has presented research on diverse health topics at the 2024 American Public Health Association Conference in Minneapolis, MN, and the 2025 Society for Public Health Education Conference in Long Beach, CA. During her graduate studies, Brianna contributed to research initiatives with findings being presented at this conference and developed a social media campaign on childhood lead exposure prevention for the City of Battle Creek, Michigan. Prior to her MPH, she worked in healthcare for twelve years across multiple diverse populations, including five years in pediatric care. Brianna is passionate about advancing health equity and health education for all populations, with particular interest in improving children's health outcomes through evidence-based interventions and community engagement strategies.
