Sarah Kershner is an Associate Professor of Public Health and Chair of the Healthcare Administration Department at Francis Marion University in South Carolina. Previously, Sarah managed a randomized controlled trial supporting the implementation of a reproductive health curricula in middle schools aimed at reducing the teen birth rate statewide. Sarah has authored several peer-reviewed articles, presented dozens of presentations nationwide and participated in review panels with Mathematica Policy Research and ETR Associates. Sarah’s interests include sexual health, research and evaluation, LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and adolescent risky behaviors. Sarah lives in Olanta, South Carolina with 499 other residents (so not to be confused with Atlanta) with her husband, 12 year old son and herd of “furbabies”.
