Gwendolyn M. Hoff Anderson, MPH, CHES (she/her) is a graduate from the University of San Francisco MPH program. Her research has focused on the health needs of children and adolescents, particularly around climate communication. She puts her research into practice as the mother of three adolescents and a Scout leader. She is an active member of the APHA Children’s Environmental Health Committee, contributing to the development of fact sheets for parents and caregivers on health risks of climate change, encouraging uptake of a high school lesson plan on health effects of climate, and graduate-level competencies for Children’s Environmental Health.
