Audra Baca, MPH, MA, CHES, is a Senior Consultant at Rede Group and has led the Oregon Health Authority’s Nicotine Treatment and Recovery in Behavioral Health (NiTR) project for 2.5 years. Her public health career centers on collaboration and the practical application of Community-Partnered Participatory Research to advance equitable, person-centered programs, systems, and funding. A former Tobacco Prevention and Education Coordinator, Audra brings expertise in commercial tobacco control, behavioral health, and community engagement. She uses a balance of community and systems perspectives to guide the NiTR project's various work in assessing tobacco recovery in behavioral health throughout the state and to plan and implement workforce development initiatives that strengthen recovery and promote health equity.
