Brinda is a Ph.D. student in Health Education at Texas A&M University School of Public Health and a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Her research centers on mental health promotion, disability inclusion, and suicide prevention among college populations. As an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, she led initiatives to enhance mental health awareness and access for refugee families through Amanaah Refugee Services. At Texas A&M, she teaches the Healthy Relationships program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) under the PATHS and ACHIEVE programs. Brinda exemplifies compassion-driven leadership and a strong commitment to building inclusive, supportive, and mentally healthy communities by serving as the President of the Indian Graduate Students at TAMU.
