Jody Early is a Professor in the School of Nursing and Health Studies at the University of Washington Bothell where she serves as lead for the Health Ed. & Promotion Minor and teaches in the BA Health Studies and M.S. in Community Health and Social Justice. She is also a faculty affiliate with the Center for an Informed Public, a center at the University of Washington that translates research into praxis to resist strategic misinformation, promote an informed society, and strengthen democratic discourse. Jody’s scholarship and teaching in K-20 and public health span 30 years and focus on the application of critical, participatory, and digital pedagogies to co-develop and evaluate culturally responsive interventions and campaigns. She is a long-standing SOPHE member and former Board Trustee.
