Anna Torrens Armstrong, PhD, MPH, CPH, MCHES currently serves as Director of Community Health Center Operations at the Florida Association of Community Health Centers, Inc., the Florida state primary care association, where she provides statewide support for FQHC operations, governance, and strategic planning. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at the University of South Florida College of Public Health, including Director of the MPH Foundational Core and Co-Director of MPH Programs, leading large, diverse teams and advancing workforce development and experiential learning for more than 1,400 students. Dr. Armstrong is also the Immediate Past Chair of the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), Deputy Coordinator of the Coalition of National Health Education Organizations and is widely recognized for bridging research, practice, and education to improve population health outcomes. Her 20 years of experience spans community health, higher education, health systems, research, and nonprofit organizations.
