Matthew Oliveira, MD, MPH is a medical student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a recent MPH graduate. His work centers on improving healthcare access for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). His capstone, Barriers Without Walls, examined barriers to care and informed development of toolkits for patients, families, and providers. He has presented this work at regional conferences and served in leadership roles, including co-chair of the UC Honors Council and member of the Admissions Committee. With interests in anesthesiology and public health, Matthew is committed to advancing equitable healthcare and creating collaborative solutions to reduce disparities affecting vulnerable populations.
