Yariktza Coronado is an undergraduate at California State University, Fullerton, pursuing a B.S. in Public Health, a B.A. in Public Administration, and a minor in Data Science. She began her research career in summer programs, immersing herself in projects on HIV prevention among LGBTQ+ POC populations and on food insecurity and colorectal cancer. She is part of two research labs on campus: the Interdisciplinary Cancer Health Science Lab and the Psychophysiology and Social Interactions Lab. As a peer educator with TitanHEALTH and the Office for Civil Rights, she advances health, equity, and student well-being. Her research interests include reducing health disparities in underserved populations and driving systemic change through evidence-based research that supports public policy reform.
