Rebecca Anumel-Ackah is a student at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, pursuing a Doctorate in Population Health Sciences. She serves as a volunteer Research Associate for CAN DO Houston, a community-based organization that advances healthy living through community-driven solutions. With over two years of experience in research dissemination, Rebecca translates findings from community-engaged research projects to both community partners and academic audiences. Her work focuses on addressing systemic barriers that influence health outcomes through community-driven approaches. She is passionate about applying evidence-based approaches to promote health equity and improve access to resources for underserved communities.
