Sarah Dauw is a Master of Public Health (MPH) student in the Epidemiology concentration at the University of North
Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health with a concentration in Public Health at the
University of North Florida with minors in Chemistry and Health Education. She is currently a Graduate Assistant at the University of North Florida under the Department of Public Health Chair, Dr. Gao, who studies lung diseases. She has worked at a substance use prevention and mental heath organization, and she has done graduate program papers related to youth substance use. Sarah hopes to continue to make a difference in her community by educating community members and advocating for positive change related to substance use prevention.
