Sam Blakely is an Alabama-born, passionate storyteller, facilitator, and transformative organizer. Her passion for a liberated existence exploded after an outrageous attack on reproductive freedom in 2018. She began connecting with activists and policy analysts to fight patriarchal oppression in its many hideous forms. With a background in theatre and communication, she has been able to thrive by expanding her organizing ethos, facilitation skills, and advocacy on a local and national scale. Sam strives to be a community leader and advocates for marginalized people by educating, nurturing, presenting, and mentoring. Sam has been featured as a fierce advocate in many familiar publications such as the New York Times and The Grio. She has also shared her story on many public platforms including, CNN and NowThis.
