Luis Guaman earned his BA in Social Work with a minor in Spanish from the College of Staten Island and completed his MSW in 2024 at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, specializing in Community Organization. He is dedicated to empowering youth and adults through education, advocacy, and support. Luis has led workshops on LGBTQ+ health, boundaries, and skill-building for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He also pursues a second career in culinary arts, running a wellness-focused nutrition business. Currently, Luis is a Senior Education Associate at Protect All Children from Trafficking (PACT), working in the Child Sexual Abuse Material Prevention Program to educate parents and adults on preventing child trafficking and exploitation.
