Dr. Renee Frimming is the Chair of the Kinesiology and Sport Department at the University of Southern Indiana. A Master Certified Health Education Specialist, she has secured funding for school-based fitness and nutrition initiatives in Title I schools and organized numerous health fairs and wellness events. She has significantly expanded both K-12 partnerships and international collaborations. Widely published and the recipient of multiple awards, she is recognized for her community engagement, and the warmth and collegiality that motivate students, colleagues, and partners alike to pursue healthier, more active lives.
