Sheri Burson, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Public Health at Texas State University. She is the public health graduate program coordinator, teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in program planning and evaluation, and mentors students through applied, community-engaged projects. As a faculty advisor for Eta Sigma Gamma, she leads students in developing campus-wide health promotion events that foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Burson is passionate about preparing future public health professionals through experiential learning and evidence-based program design.
