My name is Farhana Khandoker, MBA, MS, and I am a PhD student in the School of Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My research focuses on digital health literacy, chronic disease prevention, and mental health disparities among vulnerable populations. I serve as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. I have co-authored peer-reviewed publications, including “Awareness, knowledge, and attitude towards basic life support among healthcare professional students in Bangladesh,” published in PLOS Global Public Health. This work emphasized the importance of preparedness and training in lifesaving skills among healthcare students, aligning with my broader commitment to improving health equity and public health outcomes through research and education.
