Dr. Meghan E. Burroughs is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Bachelor of Public Health program at Jacksonville State University. She earned her PhD in Health Education and Promotion from The University of Alabama and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. Her research focuses on young adult substance use and misuse, as well as the influence of social media on health behaviors. Dr. Burroughs has presented at SOPHE, APHA, and AAHB, has multiple publications on these topics, and is actively engaged in related research projects.
