Dr. Amy Wotring is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Public Health at the University of Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Toledo, her Master of Public Health from the Northwest Ohio Consortium of Public Health, a Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Gerontological Practice, and her Doctorate in Health Education from the University of Toledo.
Prior to joining the University of Tennessee, Dr. Wotring served as an Assistant Professor of Public Health at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she taught for three years. Across her academic career, she has taught more than 30 distinct courses in public health and health education and holds a Quality Matters certification in online teaching.
