Gracie Houser, a senior at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, studying public health with a global health concentration. She is Co-President of the UNCW chapter of ESG. She worked two semesters on planning and pilot testing components of the Malaria Mastery Program. This included preplanning stages of research, creating objectives, writing the program plan, and evaluating data from the pilot test using a paired t-test. Gracie is an undergraduate research assistant evaluating the Malaria Mastery program. Her role in the evaluation is to analyze the data and write a manuscript for publication. After graduating from UNCW, she plans to earn her MPH with the goal of improving prevention techniques and access to care across for under resourced communities.
