Tanya Dhingra, MPH, is a public health practitioner focused on advancing equitable, community-centered systems at the intersection of health, education, and environment. She has served with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health since 2021, joining during the COVID-19 response and continuing to support school and early childhood health initiatives across the city. Through the Pediatric Partnerships program, Tanya has worked closely with schools, early childhood centers, and community organizations to translate complex public health guidance into practical, responsive action. Her work has strengthened cross-sector collaboration and built systems that support both emergency response and long-term child health outcomes. More recently, she has led environmental health efforts, including a citywide HEPA Air Purifier initiative reaching over 880 education sites.
