Sabrina Strong, MPH, CHES®, is the Director of the Best Practices Registry at the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC). A health educator and public health professional for over 30 years, Strong’s areas of interest include the intersections of suicide, mental health, substance use, harm reduction, and sexual health. She has over 15 years of experience in the suicide prevention field with a focus on community coalition work, peer support, and community education in rural and Indigenous communities. Strong is a person with suicide-centered living and lived experience and was a member of the National Action Alliance’s Suicide Attempt Survivor Task Force, which created the report The Way Forward: Pathways to Hope, Recovery, and Wellness With Insights From Lived Experience.
