Sally Lemke, DNP, WHNP-BC is a nurse practitioner, academic, and nurse leader with over 30 years’ experience in public and community-based health. She currently serves as a School Health Nurse Consultant with the Illinois Department of Public where she provides regulatory oversight and technical assistance to the state’s 64 school health centers. Dr. Lemke received her RN and MSN at the University of California, San Francisco and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Rush University. Having completed fellowships with the national School-Based Health Alliance and the Illinois-based Public Health Leadership Institute for Systems Change, Sally is impassioned by collaborative efforts that support cross-cutting public health initiatives that advance school-based health services.
