Dr. Bensley is in his 33rd year as a professor and director of the public health program at Western Michigan University. He has numerous years of experience working with populations through grant-funded program development, implementation, evaluation, and research related activities. He has served as the project director on over 400 externally funded contracts, totaling over $25 million, most of which support the development and implementation of technology-based nutrition behavior change programming. He is a Fulbright Scholar and WMU chapter co-advisor and a past president for Eta Sigma Gamma National Public Health Education Society.
