Monica (Mo) was born in San Antonio, Texas where she grew up celebrating her Mexican culture with her large family. Monica earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2014 and a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2017. Currently, she is the Community Health Worker Supervisor on the Health Navigation Program at Familias en Accion. In this role, she focuses on supporting a team of CHW’s dedicated to case management, health navigation, connecting people to health care, and providing culturally-specific services. Mo believes in compassionate supervision, challenging barriers, striving towards health justice, and authentically serving the Latine communities she works with.
