David Tran is a second-year MD candidate enrolled at the Medical College of Georgia, AU/UGA Medical Partnership. He is an active member of his institution's medical improv group and brings a learner’s perspective when participating in improv sessions. With an evidence-based approach, he was inspired by an experience that significantly strengthened his communication, adaptability, and teamwork, which he believes directly translated into clinical patient care as well as simulated patient sessions. With a passion for medical education and skill building, David is committed to exploring innovative approaches that prepare future physicians to better connect with patients and colleagues. He is very enthusiastic about sharing the value of medical improv as a tool for enhancing clinical practice.
