Alison Durran is a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for an Informed Public at the University of Washington. Her research lies at the intersection of health and regulatory reform and in health and human rights, with a specific interest in how forward-looking regulatory reform and policy can work to incentivize innovation and improve health across populations. Her current projects examine the roles of policy, advocacy, and public-engaged approaches to countering misinformation at the community and systems level.
She was a former associate at the O’Neill Institute, where she worked with the Center for Transformational Health Law. Allison earned her MPH at Yale University and her J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
