Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Describe the types of digital health interventions used to enhance coping mechanisms and resilience among healthcare workers.
Evaluate the quality of digital health intervention research and explain how study design influences intervention effectiveness, and adoption.
Analyze the implications of digital health intervention for future program design, policy formulation, and professional practice in promoting positive coping mechanism among healthcare professionals
Brief Abstract Summary: Discover how digital health interventions can strengthen coping mechanism and resilience among healthcare workers. This systematic review analyzed 2,669 studies, of which only 12 met the inclusion criteria to assess the quality of the interventions and their effectiveness. The emergent of themes such as type of intervention, effectiveness and target outcomes from study findings indicates that indeed there are digital tools that reduces stress and promote positive coping mechanism.
Learn why only half of the studies were of high quality standard, and why digital tools alone are insufficient. Gain valuable insights into how there is a need for healthcare institutions and policy makers to invest in evidence-based digital health platforms, ensure these tools are accessible to diverse workforce, and actively promote digital literacy among staff to encourage adoption.
